SBW Berlin supports selected educational projects around the globe. Currently we focus on the SBW Berlin scholarship. With this scholarship, we enable young, foreign talents who have already shown voluntary commitment in their home country to study for a bachelor's or master's degree in Berlin
Scholarship description
The SBW Berlin Scholarship Programs support talented and financially disadvantaged international students to study undergraduate or master’s degrees in Berlin or Potsdam. The program covers full tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses, and in some cases, travel costs. In return, students are expected to engage in non-profit projects during their studies and apply their skills to social initiatives in their home countries after graduation.
Who can apply

Citizens of developing countries

Homeless foreigners and recognized refugees

EU long-term resident permit holders

Applicants aged 18–30

Must have an average grade equivalent to at least 2.0 (German GPA)

Must prove low household income
-
Must not have close family members in Germany

Must be admitted to a university in Berlin or Potsdam
