Scholarship description
The SSBT program is a work-integrated scholarship at Seoul National University Graduate School, created in partnership with Samsung SDI. It provides partial financial assistance to students researching batteries and secondary battery technologies, while preparing them for guaranteed employment with Samsung SDI upon graduation. Benefits include up to 2 years of financial support, additional scholarships if employed, and access to exclusive industry–academic opportunities such as idea competitions, overseas training, collaborative research projects, and professional networking.

Applicants enrolled at Seoul National University Graduate School

Master’s students: at least 2 semesters remaining

PhD students: coursework completed, at least 2 semesters remaining, and able to graduate within 2 years

Must be in a field related to batteries/secondary batteries (Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical & Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemistry, or other battery-related departments)
