Scholarship description
The Princeton Fung Global Fellowship 2026–27 is a prestigious fully funded program for exceptional early-career scholars in the social sciences and humanities. Fellows will spend one academic year at Princeton University, conducting independent research, improving their academic writing, and collaborating with world-class faculty. The fellowship includes salary support, professional development, mentorship, and opportunities to present research in seminars. It aims to foster international collaboration and intellectual exchange.

Early-career scholars in social sciences and humanities

Must have earned a PhD (or equivalent), generally after 1 September 2016

Must hold a faculty appointment or research position outside the United States

Current PhD students and postdoctoral researchers are not eligible

Applicants must commit to returning to their position after the fellowship
