Research Ireland supports the contribution of research and innovation to Ireland’s economic, social, cultural, and environmental development and sustainability, as well as strengthen the engagement between the research and innovation system and enterprise, Government and public bodies, the voluntary sector and society.
Scholarship description
The Ireland Government Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded program open to international and European students pursuing Master’s or PhD studies in Ireland across all academic disciplines. Managed by the Irish Research Council, the scholarship provides up to €34,000 annually to cover stipend, tuition fees, and research costs, supporting students for up to 2 years for Master’s programs and 4 years for PhD programs.
