Scholarship description
The EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program 2026 is an 8-week fully funded summer research opportunity for talented undergraduate and master’s students from around the world. Hosted by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, the program allows participants to conduct hands-on research in the field of life sciences under expert mentorship. In addition to research experience, participants benefit from seminars, workshops, and social activities, culminating in a research symposium. The program covers living costs, accommodation, and travel expenses.
Who can apply
Open to all international students currently enrolled in a university who have completed at least two years of undergraduate study or the first year of a master’s program. Recent graduates (within one year) may also apply if pursuing or planning to pursue graduate studies in life sciences. Eligible fields include biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biophysics, chemistry, and related disciplines. IELTS is not required.
