Scholarship description

The Danish Government Masters Scholarship 2026 at the University of Southern Denmark is a fully funded program for talented international students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland. Funded by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the scholarship aims to attract outstanding students to pursue a Master’s degree in Denmark.Recipients receive full tuition coverage and a monthly stipend of DKK 3,000 (before taxes) to help with living expenses. The program accepts students for February and September 2026 intakes, offering an excellent opportunity to study at one of Denmark’s leading research universities.

Who can apply

  • Applicants from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) eligible for admission to a Master’s program at SDU.

  • Must be enrolled in a full-degree Master’s program at the University of Southern Denmark.

  • Must meet language proficiency requirements (English).

  • Will be granted a temporary educational residence permit in Denmark.
