The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the German national agency for the support of international academic cooperation. We offer programs and funding for students, faculty, researchers and others in higher education, providing financial support to over 55,000 individuals per year. We also represent the German higher education system abroad, promote Germany as an academic and research destination, and help build ties between institutions around the world.
Scholarship description
The DAAD International Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 provides international students with a fully funded opportunity to pursue postgraduate education in Germany across fields such as Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Architecture, Design, Film, and Music. The program duration ranges from 12 to 24 months, depending on the degree. Scholars benefit from tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, health insurance, travel grants, research subsidies, and support for dependents. This program is funded by the German Government and aims to strengthen international academic collaboration.
